Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Expecting a quick resolution from Iran-U.S. negotiations is unrealistic
BlockBeats News, May 1st, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri stated that it is not realistic to expect Iran and the United States to reach a quick agreement through negotiations. Bagheri said that, over the 47 years since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has accumulated deep distrust and suspicion towards U.S. actions.
He emphasized that expectations for negotiations to reach a result in a short period are unrealistic, “after all, this is an extremely bloody war.” He pointed out that the United States and Israel are “extremely brutal,” and the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon over the past two and a half years have proven this.
