Roblox reduced its $RBLX annual booking forecast on Thursday, citing that new safety initiatives could impact user growth and spending on the popular gaming platform, leading to its shares dropping more than 18% in extended trading.

The company expects fiscal year 2026 bookings to range between $7.33 billion and $7.6 billion, lower than its previous forecast of between $8.28 billion and $8.55 billion.

Investments in recommendation algorithms and increased developer rewards have helped attract millions of users to Roblox who want to play free games and connect with friends.
