Golden Finance reports that on May 1st, according to Iranian sources, in the early morning of May 1st, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri said that expecting Iran and the United States to reach a quick agreement through negotiations is unrealistic.
Bagheri stated that over the 47 years since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has accumulated deep distrust and suspicion towards U.S. actions. He emphasized that one should not expect negotiations to reach a result in a short period, “after all, this is an extremely bloody war.” He pointed out that the United States and Israel are “extremely brutal,” and the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon over the past two and a half years have proven this.
Bagheri said, “In this situation, regardless of who the mediator is, expecting an agreement in a short time is unrealistic.” (CCTV)
