Just ran the numbers on something - if you'd thrown $1K into Bitcoin back in 2020, you'd be sitting on over $10K by now. That's roughly 9x returns over five years, which honestly is pretty wild when you think about it. Bitcoin hit $126K last year before pulling back to around $76K where it's trading now. People keep saying it's too volatile to hold, but the ones who just left their position alone made serious money. Sure, we're down from the peak, but zooming out on the 5-year chart, it's just noise. There's been a lot of talk about regulatory clarity and institutional adoption picking up, which could be catalysts for another run. Not saying it's guaranteed, but the long-term trend has been hard to bet against if you had patience.
