Just realized something interesting - if you'd thrown a grand into Bitcoin back in 2021, you'd be looking at some solid gains even with the recent pullback. That's roughly a 9x return over five years, which honestly isn't bad considering how much volatility crypto has thrown at us. Right now Bitcoin price USD is sitting around $76K after hitting that peak near $126K not too long ago. The pullback from the highs looks dramatic until you zoom out and see the bigger picture. There's been some real catalysts pushing things forward - clearer regulatory frameworks, talk of interest rate cuts, and more companies adding crypto to their treasuries. Bitcoin price USD movements have definitely cooled recently, down about 10% from the all-time high, but that's pretty normal after such a run. The interesting part is whether we see another leg up from here. Lots of positive momentum still in the pipeline, so worth keeping an eye on how this plays out over the next year or so.
