Just looked back at Bitcoin's performance over the past 5 years and honestly it's pretty wild. If you'd thrown $1,000 at BTC back in 2020, you'd be sitting on over $10,600 by now - that's nearly 10x returns. Bitcoin price USD has been all over the place though, especially with that run-up to $124,000 last year.

Right now bitcoin price USD is hovering around $76,500, which is down a bit from the peak but still crazy compared to where it was half a decade ago. People were really hyped about the regulatory clarity and interest rate expectations back then. There's been some pullback recently, but when you zoom out on the long-term chart, it's just noise.

The thing about Bitcoin is it keeps proving the skeptics wrong. Yeah, there's always volatility and people talking about crashes, but patient holders have consistently come out ahead. Current bitcoin price USD might feel underwhelming to some, but historically these dips have been buying opportunities. Treasury adoption is picking up, there's more institutional interest, and the fundamentals around adoption keep getting stronger. Not saying it's guaranteed to moon or anything, but the catalysts are definitely there if you're thinking about the next 5 years.
