Putin and Trump Discuss Iran Nuclear Program in 90-Minute Call
Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump discussed Iran’s nuclear program in a phone call lasting more than 90 minutes on April 29. Putin offered a proposal on Iran and backed Trump’s decision to extend a ceasefire. The two leaders also discussed economic and energy cooperation, while Trump said an agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine is near.
