Wasabi Protocol suspected of having its private management keys leaked, resulting in a loss of 5.5 million USD

Wasabi Protocol suspected of leaking the private key of the administrator, leading to a loss of approximately $5.5 million across multiple blockchains.

PeckShield stated that the stolen assets are spread across ETH, Base, Blast, and Bera. On-chain data shows that the attacker added a malicious address as a contract administrator with just one transaction.

Wasabi Protocol announced that they have acknowledged the incident, are investigating, and recommend users not to interact with the protocol’s contracts at this time. The project said it will provide further updates.
