I’m getting lazier and lazier about going head-to-head on the mainnet. Once gas gets high, I feel like I’m just providing liquidity for other people. Plain and simple: the mainnet is for “serious business”—big amounts, long-term holding, and minimal moving around. For everyday small amounts of back-and-forth, I just stick to L2. The experience is smoother, and it’s less likely to send my mindset spiraling out of control. Honestly, I’ve only got one rule: if I can try things out on L2 first, don’t pay tuition right out of the gate. If I really need to go back to the mainnet, then I’ll consolidate everything and withdraw in one go.

I’ve also had my fill of watching economic collapses in chain games. As soon as inflation kicks in and studios start rolling in, token prices and sentiment spiral downward together—until, in the end, who isn’t just a bagholder… Anyway, whenever I see social media start chanting “We’re good now” or “Let’s go,” I instinctively withdraw first. I’d rather miss the moment than be the one who acts as the trigger for everyone to run. That’s it for now.
