Lately, airdrop interactions have become popular again, with a bunch of links in the group saying "just click once" or "fully automated task running," which makes my head hurt... I take simplicity as a trap. The more they talk about zero barriers, AI agents automatically trading and interacting, the more I pause for three seconds: are they just hyping the narrative, or are they trying to steal your wallet permissions?
My current approach is very simple: only use a secondary account + small amounts, avoid connecting the main wallet if possible; before signing, carefully check if it requires unlimited permissions or if there are suspicious Permit/Approve requests, and if the popup looks fake, I just close it directly. I’d rather miss out than get rekt. FOMO, honestly, is just making you too lazy to check... Anyway, I clear permissions weekly to feel more at ease, for now, that’s how I do it.
