Last night, the rain was pretty heavy, and I was scrolling when I suddenly hesitated and clicked on a contract authorization. It was set to "unlimited" by default. I was just thinking to get in quickly, but then I started to feel a bit scared afterward... Honestly, it's like giving someone the keys to your house. If you don't revoke it, they can keep moving assets from your wallet. Many pitfalls aren't because of advanced hacking, but because you once casually approved something and then forgot about it.

Recently, there's been talk about certain regions tightening or loosening taxes and compliance, which makes deposit and withdrawal expectations fluctuate, and people tend to get anxious easily. The more anxious they get, the more they click confirm randomly, faster than their brains can process, and in the end, it's these small details that cause losses.

Anyway, I've set a simple rule for myself: after interactions, I immediately revoke any unnecessary authorizations, then go to sleep. Tonight, I'll first revoke the authorization from yesterday before lying down.
