Lately I've been looking at a bunch of PFPs and membership cards again, honestly I can't tell if I'm buying a "long-term brand" or just a ticket to a group chat... To put it simply, what keeps me holding onto it isn't how cool the avatar is, but whether there will still be some value in the future: offline meetups, product priority, or at least the team not constantly changing narratives every few days. But I also find it hard to stay rational; when I see everyone changing avatars and flooding the chat, I get itchy, and even when cursing gas fees, I still click confirm—classic.

Now with the extreme swings in funding rates, the group is also arguing whether it's a reversal or just continuing to squeeze the bubble, I actually feel more that: attention is truly the most expensive "fee." When it's hot, members = identity; when it's cold, all that's left is a picture and a bunch of unread messages... I'll keep lurking on cheap chains for bulk interactions, so I don't have to pay tuition again on the mainnet.
