Just saw Ansell dropped a new disposable glove called TouchNTuff 93-800 that supposedly handles acetone way better than regular nitrile gloves. Like, 15+ minutes of acetone resistance versus whatever standard ones manage. Pretty wild for anyone working with solvents constantly.

They built it with something called MICROCHEM Chemical Barrier Technology and it hits both EN ISO 374-1 Type A for ketones/harsh solvents and EN388 2110A for cut/abrasion. Sounds like they actually thought through the whole durability thing instead of just slapping a label on it.

Makes sense tbh - in solvent-heavy work, regular gloves just disintegrate and you're constantly swapping them out. If acetone resistance actually lasts longer, that's fewer changeovers and less exposure risk. Available through their distributors now if you're in one of the regions that has it. Worth checking if you're in that line of work.
