Just saw that TELUS and AST SpaceMobile are teaming up to bring cellular services to remote areas across Canada. Basically they're launching satellite-based cellular coverage so people out in nowhere can actually use their phones without needing special gear. TELUS is even investing and becoming a shareholder in the deal. Pretty wild that you could be in the middle of nowhere and still text, call, or browse on your regular phone. This cellular expansion into remote regions could be a game-changer for rural connectivity. Wonder how the coverage actually performs though 🤔
