Watching on-chain activity over the weekend really feels a bit like watching security footage… You think you’re seeing it in “real time,” but it might just be that the node is lagging, the RPC is acting up, or the indexer hasn’t caught up. Someone told me there’s no movement on-chain, and my first reaction isn’t “it’s fine,” but to switch to a different RPC and take another look—more often than not, it’s just that the picture you’re seeing is delayed by a few minutes.
Recently, someone else has been using ETF capital flows and U.S. stock market risk appetite to explain every K-line. I can’t be bothered to argue—after all, the data sources may not be synced, and even if the discussion gets heated, it might still just be everyone’s own “delayed version.” I only have one habit now: before placing an order, confirm the status—don’t end up blaming slippage at the last minute.
