CoinWorld News reports that Iranian President Pezeshkian and Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf are seeking to remove Foreign Minister Aragchi. The reason is that, during nuclear negotiations, he followed instructions from the Revolutionary Guards commander without notifying the president. Sources say Pezeshkian and Ghalibaf believe that Aragchi’s behavior in recent weeks has been more like that of an aide to Revolutionary Guards commander Ahmad Vahidi than a cabinet minister tasked with implementing government policy. This situation has caused Pezeshkian strong dissatisfaction; he has told those around him that if this continues, he will fire Aragchi.
