🏦 One company bought Bitcoin faster than miners could produce it. Let it be absorbed.
While the market debates macro downturns and fears, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) quietly executes one of the most aggressive institutional moves in crypto history — and the numbers are staggering.
📊 Key Figures:
Strategy's Bitcoin purchases in 2026 have reached about 2.2 times the natural Bitcoin supply increase for the same period — with BTC returns of 3.7%, generating 24,675 BTC worth $1.7 billion.
But this is even more extreme.
Just in March, miners produced around 16,200 BTC — while Strategy bought 46,233 BTC in the same month. That’s nearly 3 times the newly mined supply absorbed by a single company in 30 days.
🏆 They Just Surpassed BlackRock:
Strategy now holds more Bitcoin than BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) for the first time since Q2 2024 — after aggressively accumulating nearly 80,000 BTC just in 2026.
Total holdings now reach 818,334 BTC — acquired at a cost of $61.81 billion with an average price of $75,537 per coin — representing about 3.9% of the total fixed supply of 21 million Bitcoin.

💡 Why This Changes Everything:
818,061 BTC on Strategy’s balance sheet are held by entities openly committed to never selling — which completely shifts how the market values the available Bitcoin supply.
Strategy shows no public indication that they plan to slow down their buying pace heading into the second half of 2026.
Less supply. Same demand. You do the math. 📈
When institutions accumulate at twice the mining rate — retail will either rise or fall behind.
