Just realized how many streaming services are actually letting you test drive them for free before you commit. Been looking to cut costs lately, so figured I'd check what's available.

YouTube TV gives you like 85+ channels and unlimited DVR storage, and they let you try it free for two weeks. After that it's around $65 a month, though there's usually some promo going on. Hulu's probably the cheapest option if you don't mind ads - free 30-day trial and then just $7 a month. Or $13 if you want it ad-free. They also bundle it with Live TV and Disney+ for around $70.

Amazon Prime Video is interesting because you get it free if you already have Prime, but you can also grab a standalone 30-day free trial for just the video part. Showtime's doing a 30-day free trial too, then $4 a month for the first few months.

Honestly the free trials streaming approach makes sense - you find out real quick if you actually watch it or just let it sit there. Plus most of these don't lock you into contracts, so you can cancel whenever. Beats paying for something you're not using.
