Lately, watching the mempool queue has been quite exhausting… When there's congestion, you click confirm, which is basically throwing your transaction into a large waiting room: broadcasting it out first, nodes receive it but don't necessarily include it in a block immediately, and miners/validators will prioritize those with higher fees or more "cost-effective" for themselves. You’ll see the status dragging from pending all the way, and during that time, it might be replaced (resubmitted with a higher nonce), or simply expire/fail, but the wallet still shows "submitted" first, which makes people anxious.

My biggest fear isn't slow confirmation, but chaos: I can wait if it's slow, but chaos means seeing the same transaction displayed differently in different places, or messages about cross-chain bridge thefts. Everyone suddenly starts "waiting for confirmation" to stay safe, making the chain even more congested… Plus, occasional oracle glitches with quotes, arbitrage bots rushing in, and gas fees like opening a blind box. Anyway, during congestion, I prefer to do less, and if I really need to act, I first think through the cancel/replace options, or else my anxiety level just skyrockets.
