Smokey Bones abruptly closes all Florida, US restaurants, here's why

Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill has abruptly closed all of its locations across the United States, including its remaining three in Florida, where the chain originated. Employees were reportedly notified of the permanent closures on the same day the restaurants shuttered. The closures follow a series of ownership changes and financial restructuring, with recent Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings by FAT Brands Inc. and Twin Hospitality Group Inc., which owned Smokey Bones.
