Just now I got the itch again and wanted to chase a green rebound, my hand was about to hit the confirm button when I suddenly stopped: Am I doing this because I understood the new information, or because the "miss it and it's gone" emotion in the group is pushing me? Honestly, most of the time it's the latter... I set a simple rule for myself: first close the position window, then flip through a couple of pages of on-chain announcements, even if I only understand half of it.
Recently, the NFT royalty war also looks quite similar, creators say they want income, traders say they want liquidity, and in the end everyone is just protecting their own positions. When I get excited, I think "this is going to take off," then I realize: which side do I stand on? Do I want to support creators, or do I just want to make an extra buck from the hype?
The most ridiculous thing is I just had the impulse to "uninstall the exchange"... but thinking about my procrastination, if I really uninstall it, voting might be even more delayed. So I hold back, exit the page, take a sip of water, and wait until my mind cools down before making a decision.
