Meta shares fell about 10% on Thursday, erasing about $175 billion in market value, after the company raised its 2026 capital expenditure outlook to $125 billion–$145 billion. The new range is about 7% above Meta’s January guidance of $115 billion–$135 billion. The selloff came even as Meta reported Q1 2026 revenue of $56.31 billion and net income of $26.8 billion, both above Wall Street estimates.
