After the quarterly report of the first quarter, I realized there are way too many oddballs in this year’s A-shares.


There are people smuggling military-industry graphite to the United States.
There are people who falsified accounts—6 tons of inventory gold disappeared out of thin air.
There are people who lost 240 million yuan in silver futures trading.
There are people who went through a divorce and split 10 billion yuan.
There are also people who lost 500 million yuan in their main business because the renminbi appreciated—and ended up making more, but still losing even more.
And there are pig farmers who lost 1.2 billion yuan too: they lose on every pig sold, and if they don’t sell, they lose even more.
So many, so many of them…
