Just noticed the CTO of Amprius dumped nearly 40k shares on Jan 28 - and honestly, I don't think it's the bearish signal some people might assume. He still holds almost 750k shares after the sale, so he's clearly not bailing. Plus the whole thing was executed under a Rule 10b5-1 plan, which is basically the standard move insiders use to avoid insider trading accusations.

Here's what caught my attention though: Amprius is up massively (358% over the year), and the valuation has gotten pretty stretched. P/S ratio hit 25x, which is expensive territory. Q3 revenue jumped 173% YoY to $21.4M thanks to aerospace and defense demand, but that growth is already priced in at these levels. The CTO selling at peak valuation actually makes sense from a portfolio management angle.

So is this a buy or sell signal? The insider activity itself isn't alarming, but the valuation is. If you're looking to get in on Amprius, waiting for a pullback seems smarter than chasing at these prices. The company's tech is solid, but timing matters.
