CryptoWorld News reports that stablecoin payment company Kast has announced the appointment of former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) advisor Stephanie Allen as the head of corporate policy and communications. This move comes after the company completed an $80 million funding round, aiming to expand its licensing, communication, and policy efforts. Kast stated that Allen will work with the senior leadership team to drive policy and communication initiatives, preparing to further expand operations in North America, Latin America, and the Middle East. Allen previously served as Acting Director of the SEC's Office of Public Affairs and held senior roles in media relations and speechwriting at the agency. Kast said this appointment reflects the trend of stablecoin companies increasing policy and communication talent as they move toward regulated financial services.
