Just realized I've been sleeping on so many food apps with free food deals. Like, restaurants literally hand out free stuff just for downloading their app and joining rewards. Why didn't anyone tell me this sooner?
With food prices going absolutely crazy the past few years, I started looking into where you can actually catch a break. Turns out a ton of chains have these free food apps with rewards that actually work. I'm talking real free items, not just points you'll never use.
I tested out a bunch and here's what actually slaps: IHOP gives you a free stack of pancakes after your first order. McDonald's is doing free large fries with just a dollar minimum purchase through their app. Burger King tosses in a free Whopper or sandwich on your first digital order if you spend three bucks. Taco Bell's rewards program literally lets you pick from a list of free items when you check out.
The smaller spots are solid too. Chili's throws in free chips and salsa with every order if you join their rewards. Arby's has free sandwiches. Auntie Anne's gives you a free pretzel with a mini pretzel dogs combo. Even Jack-in-the-Box has two tacos for under a dollar plus 20% off your first order.
Honestly, if you're not using food apps with free food deals by now, you're just leaving money on the table. Most places have them at this point. Worth checking if your favorite spot has an app or rewards program because the deals add up quick.
