Just saw ALUR pumping hard today - up 57% after FDA approved their gastric balloon system. Basically it's this smart capsule you swallow in like 15 minutes, fills with fluid in your stomach, and helps you feel full for about 4 months before your body naturally gets rid of it. Pretty wild concept honestly.

The thing that got me thinking though - everyone's talking about the approval and the stock jump, but nobody's really discussing what the actual gastric balloon cost will be for patients. Like is this going to be accessible or just another expensive procedure? The medical directors are saying it could be good for people with BMI 30-40 who want an alternative to surgery or drugs, but if the price tag is crazy high, how many people can actually use it?

Stock went from $1.50 open to $1.97 at peak today. Interesting play if you're into biotech, but I'm more curious about whether this actually changes the weight loss game or if it's just another rich person thing. What's your take - does the gastric balloon cost justify the hype?
