Been watching the Magnificent Seven stocks pretty closely lately, and honestly, the group is looking pretty mixed right now depending on which names you're looking at. So I figured I'd break down which ones actually make sense to consider, especially after the moves we've seen.

First off, let's be real about Tesla and Apple. Tesla's doing interesting things, no question, but the current execution doesn't match the hype yet. It's down about 18% from all-time highs, same as most of the group, so there's nothing particularly compelling about the entry point right now. As for Apple, I'm just not seeing the innovation story. They've been riding on past products, and their recent growth is basically just a bounce off a weak comparison period. Until they actually ship something meaningful in AI and show real momentum, I'm sitting this one out.

Now here's where it gets interesting. Nvidia, Microsoft, and Meta are all trading at roughly market-average valuations right now—around 21-22x forward earnings. But here's the thing: these companies are growing way faster than the market average of 10%. They used to trade at huge premiums, and now they're at normal multiples despite crushing their execution. That's the kind of setup where you could see real upside if the market ever reprices them back to where they should be trading. All three are showing solid momentum in their core businesses.

Then you've got Amazon and Alphabet, which are a different animal. Both trading at 27x forward earnings, so they're definitely not cheap. But they've earned that premium. Alphabet's become the AI leader with Gemini gaining real traction, and their cloud segment is seeing insane demand from AI workloads. Amazon's cloud business just had its best quarter in over three years, and their custom chip revenue is growing triple digits. That's real execution, not just hype.

So if I had to pick from this Magnificent Seven group for where we are right now, I'd lean toward Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Alphabet as the ones worth considering. The first three offer better value, while Amazon and Alphabet are premium names that have actually justified the premium. Tesla and Apple just don't have the same catalysts at current levels.

Obviously this isn't financial advice—just how I'm thinking about the group after the moves we've seen. Worth doing your own research on these before making any moves.
