What is a Bitcoin supply shock? When the amount of Bitcoin available for buying and selling on the market is less than 10% of the actual circulating supply, a "liquidity supply shock" is triggered — at this point, a $100 million buy order can leverage a $1 billion market cap increase, and prices will rise exponentially.


Historical data validation:
• 2017: Exchange balances fell below 3 million coins → 600% increase within 18 months
• 2021: Exchange balances dropped to 2.8 million coins → 480% increase within 12 months
• April 27, 2026: Exchange balances have fallen to 2.45M coins, hitting a new low since 2018.
