Just scrolled through some wild motorcycle prices and honestly didn't expect to see bikes going for millions. Like, we're talking the most expensive bike in the world hitting $11 million at auction. That's the Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter - started at $110k, then skyrocketed because of this insane one-piece metal frame built around a 120ci V-twin engine. Absolutely mental.
But that's not even the only crazy expensive one. There's the 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine that sold for $7 million. Only four were ever made, which explains the price tag. Then you've got the Ecosse ES1 Spirit at $3.6 million - a hyperbike that can supposedly hit over 200 mph because of its carbon-fiber body and 1000cc engine. Apparently the most expensive bike in the world category includes some real pieces of history too, like the Hildebrand & Wolfmuller from 1984, literally the first production motorcycle ever made, going for $3.5 million.
What's wild is the reasons behind these prices. Limited production runs, exclusive designs, crazy rare tech that can't be mass-produced, plus historical significance. The BMS Nehmesis is literally coated in 24-karat gold with a 1700cc engine. Even the Harley-Davidson Cosmic Starship, hand-painted as a one-of-a-kind art piece, hits $1.5 million.
Even the 'cheapest' one on the list - the Dodge Tomahawk with a Viper V10 engine - is still half a million. These aren't just bikes, they're basically moving investments. Wild that the most expensive bike in the world market exists at all, honestly.
