Just went down a rabbit hole looking for best sports cars under 100k and honestly the options are way better than I thought if you're not trying to spend crazy money. Like, you can actually grab a legit performance car for under $35k which is kind of wild.
So apparently the Mazda MX-5 Miata is sitting around $29k and people have been obsessed with it forever - small, fun, reliable, and you're getting actual driving enjoyment without breaking the bank. The Honda Civic Si is right there too at similar pricing with that 200hp six-speed manual. Then there's the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ which are basically cousins - both solid performers and honestly some of the best value sports cars under 100k if you ask me.
If you want something with more muscle, the Ford Mustang is still going strong around $31k, and it's apparently the best selling sports car in the US for a reason. Chevrolet Camaro production is ending this year so if you've always wanted one, now's probably the time. The Dodge Challenger is also getting discontinued which is kind of sad since it's been around forever.
Then there's the Hyundai Elantra N which caught me off guard - $34,850 and reviewers were saying it's more engaging than the Civic Si and Miata in some tests. Subaru BRZ rounds out the list too if you want something practical but still fun.
The crazy part is all these best sports cars under 100k are actually reliable and won't leave you stranded. Performance, style, and you're not selling a kidney to afford one. Anyone else surprised by how many options there actually are in this price range?
