Lately, the attention economy has really driven people crazy. When a hot topic switches, the timeline is all about "the next opportunity," basically forcing you to chase after it. Seeing others jump in and screenshot their gains makes me envious, even a bit jealous, but then I think: I value sleep more than trending topics. Anyway, chasing hot spots is likely just paying tuition for emotional lessons.

Just like when a mainstream public chain is about to upgrade or undergo maintenance, everyone guesses whether the ecosystem will migrate. I also get the itch to check it out, but I set a dumb rule for myself: don’t add to my position just because "everyone’s talking about it," only touch a little if I understand the risks and exit strategies. During hot rotations, I prefer to do the opposite—diversify my positions, keep cash flow, and slowly compound what I can. If I miss out, I miss out; at least I won’t keep getting cut repeatedly. That’s it for now.
