Just been looking at fuel efficiency comparisons lately and gotta say, if you're trying to figure out what car has the best mpg, three brands keep popping up. Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai dominate this space for a reason.
Toyota's hybrid lineup is seriously impressive. The Prius hits 57 mpg combined which is wild, and even their regular Corolla does 32 city/41 highway. The Camry Hybrid sits around 51 mpg. For people who want fuel efficiency without going full hybrid, Toyota's got solid options too.
Honda's not far behind. Their Insight Hybrid gets up to 55 city and 49 highway, which honestly competes with anything out there. The Accord Hybrid does 51 mpg. If you prefer regular gas cars, the Civic is decent at 35 mpg combined, though the Accord and CR-V drop a bit lower in efficiency.
Hyundai's interesting because they're more affordable but don't skimp on fuel economy. The Ioniq Hybrid was hitting 59 mpg combined, and the Elantra Hybrid gets around 54 mpg. Their gas-only models are in the 28-36 mpg range, which is solid for the price point.
Honestly, if you want the best mpg without breaking the bank, these three are your safest bet. All three have proven track records for reliability too, so you're not sacrificing quality for fuel savings. Depends on your budget and whether you want hybrid or stick with gas.
