Just caught this - Rocket Companies brought in Varun Krishna as their new CEO back in September, guy's got serious pedigree from Intuit and PayPal, like 20+ years in the fintech space. Pretty solid move honestly. Bob Walters stepped down from his COO role around the same time, so Krishna basically took over the whole operation. The rocket ceo transition was pretty smooth from what I remember reading. Interesting to see how these leadership changes play out in the fintech world. Stock was hovering around $11 when the announcement hit if I'm remembering right. Wonder how the rocket ceo's background in payments and financial software will shape their mortgage business going forward. These kinds of executive shuffles always make you think about where a company's headed next.
