Iran reiterates that excessive demands by the U.S. have made negotiations fruitless, stating they will assess the latest situation

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated in an interview with the media in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on April 27 that, although Iran’s previous round of negotiations with the United States made progress, it failed to achieve its objectives because the U.S. side put forward excessive demands and took improper actions. Iran needs to hold consultations with Pakistan to assess the latest situation. It is reported that Araghchi will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Saint Petersburg. (CCTV News)
