Just caught Genesis Land Development's Q4 numbers and they're looking pretty solid. Revenue jumped 28.6% year-over-year to C$134.61 million, which is a decent jump from C$104.65 million the year before. Bottom line came in at C$17.93 million compared to C$12.62 million previously. So earnings per share moved from C$0.22 to C$0.31. For a land development company, that kind of revenue growth usually means their projects are moving forward and demand is there. The profit increase is what caught my eye though - not just riding on volume but actually improving margins. Worth keeping an eye on if you're following real estate development plays. Their land development strategy seems to be paying off right now.
