just found out there are actually countries with no tax at all and now i'm genuinely questioning why more people don't just move there lol. like UAE, Qatar, Bermuda - apparently you can live there and not pay income tax. sounds insane right? the catch is obviously the cost of living is wild and you need serious money just to exist there. Monaco is apparently the dream for rich people on the French Riviera, no personal income tax and it's supposedly pretty easy to become a citizen compared to other places with no tax. Cayman Islands is basically a tax haven powerhouse - no inheritance tax, no capital gains tax, nothing. they make money off trade tariffs instead. i get why people do it but also the whole moving to a tax haven thing feels like a rich person move only. would you actually consider it or nah?
