Crypto Hack Losses Reach $629.7M in April, Highest Since February 2025
Crypto hack losses reached $629.7 million in April so far, the highest monthly total since February 2025. DeFiLlama data shows KelpDAO’s $293 million hack and Drift Protocol’s $280 million exploit accounted for 82% of the losses. Chainalysis said recent attacks are increasingly targeting offchain systems such as RPC nodes, cloud key management systems and social engineering.
