Schneider Electric beats Q1 expectations as the AI data centre wave continues to lift demand for power and cooling infrastructure

📌 Schneider Electric reported Q1 revenue of EUR 9.77 billion, up 11.2% organically, beating market expectations and showing that demand from data centre customers remains the key growth driver.
💡 Energy Management continued to lead the expansion with nearly 13% growth, supported by demand for electrical equipment, server racks and cooling systems for AI data centres, especially from US hyperscalers.
🔎 The company also maintained its 2026 full-year target, with adjusted EBITA organic growth expected at 10–15%, signaling management’s confidence despite FX and macro uncertainty.
⚠️ The notable point is that the stock still fell nearly 2% after the strong results, reflecting how the market has already priced in much of the AI infrastructure story while remaining cautious about the EUR 750–850 million negative FX impact.
✅ Overall, the results reinforce Schneider’s position in the AI infrastructure chain, but the share-price reaction shows investors are separating strong fundamental growth from near-term valuation risk.
