Just realized Dollar Tree's $10 items are actually kind of genius if you're trying to stretch your budget. Like, I was looking at their pre-lit Christmas trees and they're going for $10 when the same thing costs $50+ elsewhere. You can grab a planter for like $1.50 and boom, you've got a whole setup for way less. Their vegetable trays with dip compartments are similar deal - I've seen those run $15-20 at other stores. The thing is, Dollar Tree uses data to pick which higher-priced stuff actually saves you money, so it's not random. CEO mentioned they stock bigger pack sizes of frozen foods so families can buy in bulk without breaking the bank. Average price is still just $1.40 per item, and like 85% of stuff is under $2. If you're looking for ways to get $10 right now worth of value, their seasonal items hit different. Even their plastic wine glasses - $1 each for a 10-pack - makes sense when real glasses cost way more. Not everything's a slam dunk, but if you know what to look for, you can definitely make your money go further there.
