Breakthrough 5%! The 30-year U.S. Treasury yield hits a recent high

According to data from Tonghuashun iFinD, the 30-year U.S. Treasury yield soared to 5% at one point today, reaching its highest level since July 2025, and has now fallen back to 4.98%. This level is regarded by investors as a critical “warning line”: over the past three years, each of the four times the 30-year yield approached or exceeded 5%, the S&P 500 index experienced varying degrees of pullback each time.
