Just now, I was browsing on-chain data and was amused by myself again: I thought "on-chain is the truth," but it’s often "on-chain + the version provided by the node/RPC/indexer you use"… It’s not surprising if it’s a few seconds or minutes slow, especially when everyone rushes to new L1/L2s for incentives and TVL boosts. On the interface, seeing transactions, balances, and task progress all seem laggy. Longtime users curse "mining, selling," which I can understand; the experience really is a mess. Anyway, now when I see anomalies, I don’t rush to criticize the project. I first switch RPCs, compare with block explorers/different indexing sources, and then decide if my eyes are being fooled by delays. I’m allergic to high gas fees, and information delays are the same—an invisible cost. That’s all for now, I’m going to sleep.
