Japan’s Rakuten Wallet launches XRP functionality, letting loyalty points be converted into XRP and used at over 5 million merchants. Rakuten Pay has about 44 million active users, and loyalty points exceeding 3 trillion (about $230 billion) can now be converted into XRP. Santiment says XRP’s bullish social media sentiment is the second-highest in two years; the current price is about $1.37, down 1.77% over the past 24 hours and down 3.66% over the past week.
