Recently, people keep saying "on-chain data is lagging," but actually, it's often not the chain itself being slow, it's the layer you're viewing struggling: the front end has to ask the indexer/Subgraph to organize a bunch of transactions into a "queryable table," then fetch the latest blocks via RPC to fill in the gaps. If one side is rate-limited (especially public RPC), you'll see TVL, lending pool health, liquidation thresholds appear to pause for a second and then jump again. Recently, the group has been discussing staking unlocks and unlock calendars, and everyone is watching the data more closely, so these small lags are more easily imagined as "someone is dumping." My current approach is pretty rough: don't rely on just one dashboard for key positions, check two or more data sources, and if they don't match, treat it as noise first. Don't be tempted to add leverage recklessly; once you've borrowed once, you'll really learn your lesson.
