Rush hour subway, scrolling through groups again, and once more talking about "a certain stablecoin losing its peg" or "reserve audits being opaque," emotions flare up and I want to move my funds around. Honestly, at times like this, it's easiest to mistake "a sense of security" for "returns."

Recently, staking/sharing security also feels similar: the yields stack layer upon layer, looking very attractive, but the underlying risks don't just disappear. Validators use the same capital to support multiple service platforms, and if something goes wrong, the punishments can be linked together—it's not a case of if A crashes, I can rely on B to recover. Not to mention, on-chain small incidents (block stalls, reorganizations, outages) happen frequently, and you'll find that "sharing" often first shares the fault propagation path... Anyway, I now prefer to earn less, understand the cause and effect before adding more, stacking yields without also stacking illusions.
