Lately, another batch of social mining/points activities has been popping up, and it feels like everyone is just stockpiling “identity,” building it up until it’s like working overtime in exchange for badges... I’m not saying you shouldn’t do it, but the problem is don’t drain your time: you spend each day grinding tasks, sharing, and interacting, and after a busy round, you don’t even know what you’re actually vouching for.

Even more ridiculous is that some on-chain data tools and tagging systems are getting criticized for being “lagging,” or even for being able to mislead people. You think you’re a high-quality address, but once the tag updates, they slap you with some weird profile. And if the points rules change again, all the work you did before is basically wasted.

Forget the long story—here’s the plain version: I’m going to pick two or three products I genuinely know how to use, interact with them casually, and leave traces easily. Don’t turn your wallet into a collection of script-behavior just for a badge. Cut down on slippage, save some Gas—at least you’ll be able to understand what you’re losing.
