Lately, I’ve deliberately taken a “pause” from my hands. No matter how smooth the interface looks on the cross-chain bridge, I first stop and observe: who actually holds the funds? Is multi-signature like that “gather a few people and you can open the door” feeling? The same goes for oracles—basically, who is reporting the time? If there’s an error or a price feed issue, the assets on the bridge will run off course with the wrong data. And that “waiting for confirmation”—I used to think it was slow, but now it feels more like giving myself a cooling-off period, so I don’t impulsively confirm right away.

Coincidentally, I saw that before and after some mainstream public chain upgrades/maintenance, everyone in the group was guessing whether the ecosystem would migrate. I actually prefer to stop checking news: I don’t know if the chain will migrate, but the risks on the bridge won’t get smaller just because there’s excitement, especially during upgrade windows. If something minor goes wrong, you won’t even have time to react. Anyway, my current habit is: if I can avoid bridging, I avoid it. If I really need to, I do small batches slowly—taking it slow, I accept that.
