Lately, I've been obsessively earning testnet points, honestly just practicing, but then I start imagining "what if there's an airdrop"... and my hands get itchy, I want to interact a few more times, afraid of missing a chain or a bridge. The psychological reason is pretty simple: when I see others sharing records or leaderboards, I automatically think I should keep up, or else I feel like I'm falling behind.

But if I really want to cut losses, I’ve set a strict rule for myself: only spend a fixed amount of time and a fixed gas budget per week, and stop if I go over, no chasing after "extra work." Also, don’t trust those on-chain data tools too much, they’ve been criticized recently for lagging behind or even misleading... If you copy their "high score paths," you might end up in a trap. Anyway, I treat it like working out: once I’ve practiced enough, I stop, and don’t expect it to be a paycheck.
