These past couple of days I’ve been soaking in tea while brushing up on airdrop interactions. The more I look, the more I feel the biggest fear isn’t missing out—it’s getting counter-rugged and then feeling self-satisfied about it. Put simply, I’d rather do less now: first, check whether the project is the kind that “makes you pay tuition first”; give out as few signing permissions as possible; keep wallets separate and hard-cap the limits; if there are contracts I can avoid touching, then don’t touch them… in any case, don’t risk getting your main wallet hooked up over a few cents.

As for social mining and fan tokens—the whole “attention is mining” setup—I’m also pretty torn. It often feels like using emotions as fuel; the more people argue, the more it starts to look like you’re helping someone else go deeper. My approach is slower: when I see hype, I don’t chase it right away; I wait until liquidity (the thickness of the buy and sell order books) stabilizes. Don’t let yourself become a liquidity outlet. That’s it for now—if I miss out, I miss out. Better sleep soundly.
