The so-called "breaking the face" does not mean denying everything, but rather after seeing through the limitations of right and wrong, groups, relationships, time and space, labels, and standards, no longer being bound by them; being able to participate in them without attachment, gradually letting go of ego and external judgments, and living more freely and authentically in clarity and self-control.
